Tornado Whirlwind Dash was born in the city of Cloudsdale. As a young foal, he lost his parents in a tragic flying accident while they were away and was taken to an orphanage, where he spent fifteen years without any parents or care.
At the age of fifteen, he graduated from Cloudsdale University where he trained to fight for his nation and at the age of sixteen he served his country for the betterment of others. His friends went with him out into the vile deserts of Equestria to fight against anypony who apposed Equestria. Unfortunately, about two years out of the four years he had been serving, his friends were all killed in an ambush that lasted five hours
on their base and unfortunately, Tornado was the only survivor but was held captive for two months with both months full of torture.
After being discharged from the service due to a serious injury in combat, he now lives in the village of Ponyville where he has managed to rebuild his life and move on from the horrors he had endured.
Tornado is the father of one, and is unfortunately single after losing his marefriend to cancer.

Tornado is the main protagonist in the ongoing fanfic Fallout Equestria: The Last Wanderer written by TornadoFIM, which was inspired by Kkat's Fallout: Equestria.

Tornado found himself outside of his home of Stable 30, with no idea how he got there and why he was there, but what he did know was that he was no longer in the place he called home. After gathering knowledge of her sister, he attempts to find her by wandering the great Wastes.Trying to survive out in the Wasteland, Tornado met friends known as Crystal, Dodge, Violet, Swift and Cyber along his journey to find the sister he had been separated from.
On the Night I Met You[]
Tornado is the main protagonist in the story On the Night I Met You as written by TornadoFIM. The story is a romance story involving coltcuddlers. Scion and Tornado are the lovers of the story. The passionate tale follows the lives of Tornado and Scion and follows how their friendship turns into love.
On the Night I Met You 2 is set for release in 2014 where it will follow the same couple. TornadoFIM announced the sequel for the story back in the summer of 2013 and now will actually be writing it in 2014.
