Garden Shimmer is a pegasus and she is the sister of Thunder Spectrum, she is unable to fly, walk on clouds, or control the weather, unlike her Earth Pony brother. However she has Earth Pony abilities which her brother did not possess, she can make plants grow incredibly quickly and is extremely strong. The DNA genes in this family messed up the abilities with the ponies as they are twins.
She's quite the flirty mare. She has flirted with many stallions and even other mares, she just wants to look for someone to spend time with her, as Thunder Spectrum is away cleaning the clouds away and both her parents died when she was 12. She is very kind and caring, though, and can be trusted with plants, animals and even little fillies as her brother found out when he tried to babysit.
Her cutie mark is a rose, as she learned her cutie mark was gardening when she was given a rose by a pony called Roseluck. She has tended to it ever since and it is still alive today, and is her cutie mark.
