Oh Brother, She's My Stepsister is a series focusing on Vinyl Scratch and Octavia Melody becoming stepsisters after the splitting of their parents. In this series, Vinyl and Octavia are not of their current canon ages, as it takes place during their high school years.

Octavia Melody is one of the main characters along with Vinyl Scratch. She is the daughter of Ambient Melody and Frederick Horshoepin and the older sister of Quarter Note. In the series, she becomes Vinyl Scratch's stepsister.
Violet "Vinyl" Scratch is one of the main characters along with Octavia Melody. She is the daughter of Blue Lightning and Static Scratch. In the series, she becomes the stepsister of Octavia and Quarter Note.
Quarter Note is Octavia Melody's younger brother. For the first few episodes, Quarter does not have his cutie mark until Vinyl helps him earn it in "A Big Sister's Job".
Ambient Melody is the mother of Octavia Melody and Quarter Note and the stepmother of Vinyl Scratch. She splits up with Frederick Horshoepin in the Pilot.
Static Scratch is the father of Vinyl Scratch and the stepfather of Octavia Melody and Quarter Note. He is said to have been left by Blue Lightning sometime prior to the series.
